The great thing here is that he's the savior now, ... There's no pressure on him. He isn't coming into the season with these great expectations that they had at the end of the '90s. This really should be a lot of fun for him . . . I've got to be honest with you I can't remember the last time I saw him this happy. I mean, he's giddy.
The growth for him has been meteoric. Last year at this time we were talking about him not screwing it up, and how great he was when he was able to move and make plays. Now all of a sudden, we're talking about how this could be the greatest playoff run in the history of the NFL, and it's led by a second-year quarterback.
I'm picking Mike Sherman in Green Bay. Listen, injuries are part of the game and injuries are mounting, especially offensively. Talk about whether or not Brett Favre is going to retire. I think there is a lot of pressure up there in Green Bay because they always think they are going to win a Super Bowl because they have Brett Favre.
