Sometimes the ball just won't drop. Unfortunately it's been against Ilion both times.
Sometimes you've got to win ugly. We didn't play well on our floor and I think that was because of our layoff. We got a little stagnant in the third quarter and that's something we haven't done. The third quarter has been our quarter all year.
We have got to start finding a third or fourth scorer. ... I told the guys before the game tonight (with Brian Radley out) that two people were going to have to step up, see if they're going to be the man or not.
We were not smart on our shot selection early in the game. We've got people on the floor who still have to learn their roles.
It is good to show how hard people have worked and how many can make good grades.
This (loss) was really tough. We had such a good start. ... We came out and did just exactly what we wanted to do.
That was a huge play. They stole the rebound and took it from a two-point game to a five-point game just like that.
They understood their roles in how we wanted to break the press. These are mostly guys up from the JV and they were able to stay under control.
I know West Canada didn't have a real good shooting night but I think sometimes our defense created that.
