I hit a lot of very good golf shots this week,
I think it's great for golf. I don't see any problem with it, if it helps our sponsor.
That's too bad. I like the golf course. We're seeing it under some difficult conditions because of the greens, (but) I have great memories here.
The course is fabulous I think Jack did a good job. We've got a very nice venue better than many that we play. After last night, there's been a big impact made on how this course will play due to the weather. It makes the course play longer, but it makes the greens very receptive.
The big eagle on 17 was the clincher, ... The putt was up against the collar, which is never a good place to be.
You don't win the U.S. Open by being lucky, throw it up there and hope. He's got credentials.
Probably one of the best ball-striking days I've had this year. If I continue to strike the ball like I did and improve my putting, I think I'll be right in there.
Jacques' story has touched me pretty deeply, the journey this young man has had, ... The responsibility to help him this week fell largely on my shoulders, and hopefully I did that.
I am really proud that I have continued to do as well as I have, particularly considering I have had some back problems the past couple of years, ... And pride I think that is a very important five-letter word.
If you're not just a little bit nervous before a match, you probably don't have the expectations of yourself that you should have.
I just never subscribed to the theory that at age 55, you fall off the face of the earth on the Tour. I always felt that was too young of an age for that.

When I made the turn I didn't give much thought to winning because I didn't play that well on the front nine,
It's only the second time I've played it and I'm not real familiar with the positions from which I should play and how aggressive I can be. But I'm very pleased with the start.
Every time I won, ... I wasn't sure what I could do. The ultimate shots, the ones you have to hit to win golf tournaments, were never certain with me.
At the same time, you always take these times and appreciate them more than you did the year before and the year before that.
I didn't play as crisply today and some of it was the back. I was a little jumpy. I didn't want to hit it too hard. When it back gets like this, it produces some unwanted situations.
Today was the worst I've played in the tournament. I played pretty well on Friday and I played really well on Saturday.
I had my chances. I didn't have my putts on the last few holes and I am disappointed. I knew I needed to play strong today and didn't play well.
This was a big step. I can't play that much anymore. I have to be very careful of what I do. This week I didn't have any trouble with my back, and I played like a champion.
As I look out here, ... having to watch Tom Kite with that putting stroke I think to myself ... why has he been playing the PGA Tour Tom, look at that stroke. That's why you belong here
It was just probably the poorest executed shot of the week. You're going over water one way or another, why not go at the flag
I'm the wild card, the joker in the deck,
The greens got a little more tricky out there Saturday afternoon with the wind and the sun drying them out. So they got a little bit shaky in some spots.
I've gotten away from my conditioning because of my back, but I've got to get back to that this winter.
