The goal was to go out at 125, which is a good time, but not an American record or anything. I knew I was in good enough shape to do that. If the course was a little better, I would have tried to pick it up.
We stay in touch pretty regularly, via e-mail or the phone. He'll send me programs and I'll tell him how I'm feeling. He'll give me paces and whenever we have the opportunity, we'll get together.
