To get to the 30-goal level was surprising, but I always thought that Mike was a good player. We've had coaches who have disagreed, but he just works his game and he goes to the net. He's responsible and he does the little things that you like in players. He's been very good for us as long as he's been here.
We're very happy to have this done. He's a terrific goaltender. He wanted to be here. That's what drove this. He wanted to stay in Boston and play on a team that he thinks is going to be very good. Andrew has emerged as one of the brightest young goaltenders in the NHL. We expect that he will continue to build on that and remain among the core of our team for many years to come.
It's never easy, but you have to go by performance. Hannu played very well. Hannu has played at the minor league level and he's won big games there. He needs to get used to the NHL shooters. Even at practice, he's facing players like Murray and Samsonov. If we need to make a change going forward, we will.
