I definitely never sensed it would be as big as it became. After the game, I thought maybe they'd talk about it for one or two days and then it would be over with. It kind of lingered.
I don't want any fouls. It was just basically, go in and try to establish the floor without fouling. The referees, I knew they were going to have the whistle in their mouth as soon as I got close to somebody with the ball.
I kind of expected it. I think it's over with for the most part. I'm cool with all of it. I don't even worry about it no more.
For the first few days, it was kind of hard. After I talked to my mom and family, they told me not to worry about it. Then my teammates started really joking about it so it kind of opened me up about it.
It was squeezing my chest and I was sort of short of air. I've loosened them up a little bit. Whenever I got real short, I just took my helmet off when I had the opportunity. I'm pretty used to it now.
