The question is, are we going to walk down that path or not When you are in a relationship and have a falling out, you kiss and make up the first night back together. You say the right things. But then you have to make sure actions are consistent with words. It will take some time for us to figure this out.
John Hall and I worked shoulder-to-shoulder for nearly a decade in the trenches of politics and public service. No one was more devoted to his craft and to working families. He was passionate about his profession, and particularly in helping young people. In his service on the Contractors State License Board, he was a staunch advocate for professional standards for his trade. We will miss him dearly.
