I guess you can say we did take a good whipping to some degree...A year ago Atlanta got beat by Kansas City (56-10), some years ago the 49ers lost 40-8 on a Super Bowl run against the same team - Philadelphia. When I was at Denver we had our lumps in our Super Bowl years. Itaas not unusual, but I believe whataas important to all those situations is that when it does happen the really good football teams learn from it.
We've lost production out of the offense. That hurts, and you have to try to make up for that in other ways. We certainly have confidence in our two wide receivers from a playmaker standpoint, as well as at running back, (but) you need somebody to stretch the middle of the field, and our tight end position has been more in a blocking mode than anything else.
