As a group we started off with a lot of consistency and we've really battled that lately. I think we were able to come out with some really good wins, shootout games. But we were grabbing at skin of our teeth. Last night we really played good strong game top to bottom. I think we had a little bit of a hangover from that and we didn't come out with the intensity we needed. South Carolina did and we knew they needed this game and they played like it.
Savy is the best player in this league hands down. He gets chances almost every night. He's pretty much faster than everybody out there. For everything to be going in for him is great. It couldn't happen to a better guy. Hopefully, he didn't use them all up tonight and he's saving some left in the tank.
I think I was very average on a lot of their goals. If I play to my capability, we win that game 3-1. I don't think they were doing anything special. ... If we're going to win this thing, I have to make those saves on the bad bounces, but thank God it's a series and it's not college where it's one game and out. We can still get the split.
