It’s odd the little things that come to your mind at times of utmost stress, the flashes of deep compassion you feel for people who are really not at the center of the tragedy.
I tend to gravitate towards stuff that’s really hard. I like a situation that you find yourself in where you really don’t know what you’re doing. I find it terrifying and thrilling in equal measures. What comes out of it often surprises me, because I didn’t know I was capable of doing it.
